Xiaomi would make electric cars in several Upcoming Year

Lei Jun, the CEO Xiaomi on Sunday (01/03) attended the 15th annual meeting of the China Entrepreneurs Forum event, where he delivered the opening speech at the event. In his speech, Lei Jun's asserts that Xiaomi does have plans to release electric vehicles

But Xiaomi not work on electric cars in the near future. They will focus on these products in at least three to five years into the future. Reporting from Gizmochina, (01/03), Xiaomi is now known not only as a brand smartphones, but the company has a number of products in various categories such as tablets, TV box, Routers, and much more, including a product or smart household appliances.

So, at the moment, it looks like the company is busy with its existing products. But, we cannot entirely rule out a possibility of a Xiaomi Electric car after 3-5 years.

So what do you think? Should Xiaomi focus on its existing products right now or should it expand into newer areas like electric vehicles? I think we should wait for the new Xiaomi inovation right now, but certainly, it is not surprising if Xiaomi follow the trend of smart electric car working well, such as Google and Apple.
